Supervision for Teachers?!

Writer's picture: Renetta (Netty)Renetta (Netty)

My colleague Marta and I have run Supervision and training groups for a number of years. The groups are a safe space for learning about play, increasing self-awareness for all group members and for sharing challenges, ideas and theory about therapy. We facilitate the groups and therefore manage time boundaries, ethical considerations and encourage all group members to participate.

We believe the groups would be a great learning space for other professions too and after doing some research we have found that we are not the only ones: https://lnkd.in/gFkH9N9

Teachers, especially in these strange times, could benefit from having a space to share their worries and concerns about themselves and their work. Having a person who is not part of the school can create a freedom to share support and ideas with each other in a safe environment where everything that needs to be expressed can be. #mentalhealth#reflectivepractice#school#teachers
