Reflective Practice helps me to take a step back and hear my experiences in a way that I am unable to do in my mind. Sometimes just hearing myself speak an idea or thought helps me to see a new perspective.
In groups it is great to speak out loud my experience and have others respond with their own ideas and thoughts from both their personal and professional lives.
Sometimes thinking about an experience with others helps my mind to open up to lots of new or interesting thoughts and ideas and this gives me more choices about how I respond to an experience.
I don't always agree with what others might say about my experience but I always have been given the gift of food for thought and I really do like to think!
