School Counselling

I am a qualified Creative Counsellor, based in Walthamstow,

who is a registered member BACP. I have a current DBS, appropriate professional insurance and am a member of the I.C.O.

I have worked in schools offering 1:1 counselling/ therapeutic play and setting up counselling services for over 12 years.

I use play, creativity and talking in the sessions, and can offer solution-focused interventions if appropriate. I use my counselling skills to listen and reflect with the child or young person to support them in their emotional well-being.

Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes, they are client led and it is recommended that they take place weekly in the school the child or young person attends.

The cost for each session is £60 though I am willing to offer lower costs if block bookings or payment in advance is made. Minimum commitment to sessions needs to be at least a term as this allows time for relationship building.
